When we move in these price ranges we almost always have to sacrifice some technical section. Vernee's M5 is fair and thorough in all respects, without emphasizing too much, but at the same time, without arousing any complaints. Good RAM, good battery, light and compact. Maybe we could ask for a better screen, but there we were sure to get a nice spike in the final price. Let's take a look!
Display and layout
The Vernee M5 has a 5.2 ”screen with HD + resolution (1280x768p) with 2.5D arched and curved edges. The case has a metallic texture finish and a really light weight of only 145 grams. Available in black and blue colors.
In general, it is a design that reminds me quite of the Elephone P8 mini, with a simple but elegant style. From time to time it is nice to have a smartphone that you can carry in your pocket without being too much of a hassle.
Power and performance
When it comes to hardware we have a winning combo for the mid-range of 2017. A processor MTK6750 Octa Core 64-bit running at 1.5GHz, ARM Mali-T860 GPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage expandable up to 128GB by card. All this under the protection of Android 7.0.
A combination that ensures smooth operation and that will allow us to take advantage of any app that we can find in the Google Play Store. It is not a smartphone to play + AAA games, but it does not need to.
Camera and battery
In the photographic section we do not find big surprises. An efficient 13.0MP camera on the back and another 8.0MP for the selfie area.
