Chuwi is one of the top 3 tablet PC manufacturers in China. After more than 14 years delivering devices that were found in almost all pools, the time has come to expand horizons. To do this, in recent months they have announced a couple of proposals that go beyond their usual range of action: the Chuwi GBox and the Chuwi HiGame.
The GBox It is a mini PC with Intel Gemini Lake CPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB of storage expandable up to 2TB and Windows 10. We could say that it is a direct competition from the current Android TV Boxes, since in addition to serving as a multimedia center with 4K playback and support for VP9 and HEVC 10-bit formats, it has Microsoft's operating system, something that helps a lot from face to greater versatility.
With the HiGame we find a device, from the outset, quite similar to the GBox. It is also a mini PC. But where it really differs from the first is in its imposing hardware:

With these wickers we move away, therefore, clearly from what a multimedia player for the living room is, and we delve further into a hard-core mini PC geared towards pro gamers and editors.
Like the Chuwi CoreBook, this HiGame will be funded by crowdfounding through the Indiegogo platform. A campaign that began on June 14, and that, to this day, just a week later, is already a success. They have managed to raise 678% of the proposed goal (more than $ 339,000 versus the initial $ 50,000 they needed to move forward).
The company recently uploaded a video in which we can see what this mini PC will look like.
In short, a high-performance, portable, compact and versatile desktop that looks really good, and that now confirms its launch on the market. Interesting device if what we are looking for is a powerful PC that can be transported from one workplace - or leisure - to another without major complications.
