In today's review we talk about the Cube Mix Plus, the top of the range that Cube launched at the beginning of 2017, and which is still a device with many possibilities today. We started!
Design and display
The Cube Mix Plus model has a 10-point capacitive IPS screen, with a size of 10.6 inches and Full HD resolution 1920 x 1080p. One of the great points in favor of this tablet is that is compatible with Wacomm stylus 1024 pressure levels.
This means that we can take great advantage of it if we are fans of digital drawing, since it is not usual for Chinese devices of this type to be compatible with stylus as precise as these.
Regarding the design, we find the classic premium finish that Cube usually delivers on their devices, with white frames in this case and a silver metal casing. It has a weight of 700gr and dimensions of 27.30 x 17.20 x 0.96 cm.
Power and performance
Inside the Cube Mix Plus we find really attractive hardware. A dual processor Intel Kaby Lake Core M3-7Y30 running at a base frequency of 1.61GHz and 2.60GHz in turbo mode. Accompanying the CPU we have an Intel graphics HD Graphics 615 with 24 Execution Units at a speed of 300/900 MHz (Base / Turbo).
All this together with 4GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD disk, capable of loading the system - in this case, Windows 10- and run applications as a shot. It also has an SD slot, being able to easily expand the capacity by an additional 128GB by card.
In general we can say that the Cube Mix Plus has more than interesting specifications for the price range in which it operates. It is a tablet with which we can work with great fluidity, light years away from any other similar device, mainly thanks to its SSD disk.
If we also take into account thatwe can attach a keyboard and turn it into a small laptop, we have a complete tablet like few others.
Camera and battery
When it comes to the camera, we find a lens that is little more than compliant: a 5MP rear camera with autofocus and a 2MP lead. On the other hand, in the autonomy section, it equips a built-in 7.4V 4300mAh battery that we can charge quickly through the USB type C port of the Mix Plus.
Ports and connectivity
As for the rest of the technical information, this interesting tablet has a 3.5mm headphone jack, micro USB 3.0 port, micro SD slot, USB Type C port and power port. It also incorporates Bluetooth and supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi networks.
Price and availability
Currently we can get a Cube Mix Plus tablet PC for 288.22 euros on GearBest, about $ 343.99 to change. A premium tablet with a great value for money given its features.
In general, it seems to me a remarkable tablet that there is not much that can be blamed on it. It has an SSD drive that delivers unusual loading speeds in the tablet format, it is compatible with Wacomm styluses, it has a really good looking screen and the right amount of RAM. Quite a success on the part of Cube.
