Force Upgrade to Windows 10 - The Happy Android

Microsoft already allows you to update your system to Windows 10, but in order not to saturate its servers, it is enabling these updates in a segmented way and little by little. If you still do not have the possibility to update to Windows 10 you can force the update in the following way:

Delete the contents of the folder C: \ Windows \ SoftwareDistribution \ Download.

Then run in ms-dos (Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt (run as administrator with the right button) and run the command wuauclt.exe / updatenow.

Try updating your system to Windows 10 from Control Panel -> Windows Update and click on "Search for updates". Windows should start downloading the update package.

Last but not least, remember that your computer must meet the following minimum requirements in order to install Windows 10:

  • At least a 1 Ghz processor.
  • 1 GB of RAM if you install the 32-bit version or 2 GB for the 64-bit version of Windows 10.
  • Graphics card with DirectX 9 or later.
  • Minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 600.

If you still cannot force the installation of Windows 10 on your computer, Microsoft has published an automatic installer that performs the entire process, in order to facilitate updates to the latest version of Windows. You can upload it by clicking HERE.

If after trying all this you still have problems, do not hesitate to leave a comment and we will try to help you, whatever your problem. Luck!
