Nubia M2 Lite: a mobile with 4GB of RAM for less than 100 euros

Before, mobiles with 4GB of RAM were intended for the premium mid-range and the high-end. And don't think it's been that long, you just have to take a look at the reviews from about a year ago on this blog. In 2018 things have changed a lot, and so we find terminals like the Nubia M2 Lite: a smartphone with 4GB of RAM and a price of 98.15 euros. Not bad?

The RAM memory in mobile phones helps us to better manage applications, to make things flow, go. Therefore, seeing how terminals like this Nubia M2 Lite and many others embrace 4GB at affordable prices can only be a reason for satisfaction. Bravo!

Nubia M2 Lite in analysis: an affordable terminal with 4GB RAM and 16MP camera

But not everything is RAM in this life. Let's see what other features the Nubia M2 Lite has to offer.

Design and display

The Nubia M2 Lite comes in a black body with gold trim on the edges and a matte casing. On the front we find a Home button that also serves as a fingerprint reader and a 5.5-inch screen with HD resolution (1280x720p).

When manufacturers launch entry-level smartphones they always have to sacrifice some factor. In the case of the M2 Lite, it is the resolution of the screen, which does not reach Full HD –something understandable on the other hand-.

The device has dimensions of 15.57 x 7.67 x 0.75 cm and a weight of 164 grams. In short, a compact and quite light mobile.

Power and performance

Nubia's M2 Lite has more than accommodating hardware. On the one hand, a processor MTK66750 Octa Core at 1.5GHz, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage up to 128GB by card. All this with Android 6.0.

A combo that allows us to navigate fluently, use apps without many worries and ultimately, a daily use that should be more than satisfactory for most mortals.

Camera and battery

We come to another of the interesting points of this terminal. The Nubia M2 Lite has a couple of pretty good cameras: a 13MP lens on the back and a 16MP selfie camera on the front. There are not many mobiles that offer us this for less than 100 euros, so it is a factor to take into account.

Regarding the battery, the M2 Lite equips a battery of 3000mAh via micro USB charging, which without being too large a quantity, having a small screen and a processor of moderate consumption, spreads as much as a terminal with a larger screen and a larger battery.

Connectivity

The Nubia M2 Lite has Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11b / g / n / ac and supports the following networks:

  • CDMA: CDMA 1X / EVDO 800
  • TD-SCDMA: TD-SCDMA B34 / B39
  • 4G LTE: FDD B1 2100MHz, FDD B20 800MHz, FDD B3 1800MHz, FDD B5 850MHz, FDD B7 2600MHz, FDD B8 900MHz, TDD B38 2600MHz, TDD B39 1900MHz, TDD B40 2300MHz, TDD B41 2500MHz

Price and availability

Currently we can get this Nubia M2 Lite for just 98.15 euros, about $ 118.99, on GearBest.

Opinion and final assessment of the Nubia M2 Lite

[P_REVIEW post_id = 11113 visual = ’full’]

Keep in mind that this phone came out in May 2017, that is, not a year ago. So we could consider it a slightly expensive mobile for what it offered: it was worth 280 euros.

Now, with a much tighter price, things change, a lot. A good purchase if what we are looking for is an elegant mobile, with a good design and features that are not bad for daily use.
