The Blackview S8 is intended for those who enjoy the design style of the Samsung Galaxy S8, but do not need such a powerful smartphone or are willing to leave a salary and a half along the way. Pretty understandable, right?
Design and display
Blackview's S8 features a 5.7-inch frameless display, with an aspect ratio of 18: 9 and HD + resolution (1440 x 720p). The device features a curved-edge design, with the absence of a front physical button and a metallic-finished back cover that gives it a premium luster that significantly draws attention.
We may not have a Full HD screen, but the general appearance of the terminal in terms of design and finish is really attractive. We would say that it is something similar to what the Elephone achieved last season with its clone of the Galaxy S7, the Elephone S7. A very successful finish that ended up triumphing like castanets. And many did not even notice.

Power and performance
As far as hardware is concerned, we find a MTK6750T Octa Core 1.5GHz CPU, Mali T860 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage space expandable up to 128GB by card. All this under the umbrella of Android 7.0.
We are not facing a titan of performance without borders, but I can assure you that this processor with 4GB of RAM performs but very well. My current mobile uses this same CPU and those 4GB of RAM, and so far it has given me nothing but joy.
Camera and battery
I recently read that the Blackview S8 is the first mobile phone without bezels that equips 4 cameras in its structure (SONY IMX 258). I do not know if it will be the first in the world to do so, but it is certainly an aspect to take into account.
This means that at the rear we find a 13.0MP + 0.3MP dual camera, and on the front another 8.0MP (13.0MP by software) + 0.3MP dual selfie camera. This means that we will have at our disposal the famous blur effect in both the front and rear cameras.
With regard to autonomy, the Blackview S8 wears a built-in 3180mAh battery. An adequate amount for a terminal whose screen does not exceed 6 inches and has a low energy consumption processor.

The Blackview S8 It has just been presented in society, and it can already be obtained in the pre-sale phase during October 16-23, for a price of 149.99 $, about 127 euros to change. From October 23 its official price will be 144 euros.
