WhatsApp Web is a web application that does not require any type of installation on our PC. We load the page, scan the QR code that is displayed on the screen and voila, we can access and chat with all our WhatsApp contacts as if we were accessing from the mobile.
Although the person who is using WhatsApp from the PC close the tab or the browser itself, we just need a little distraction or leave the computer for a moment to be able to access your conversations again.
How? Simply by sitting in front of the computer and reloading the WhatsApp Web page. The browser cookies will do the rest, loading the last WhatsApp session open, without the need to enter any code or password.
Security measures to avoid being spied on in this silly way
It seems silly, but few are the users who care to log out of WhatsApp Web and simply close the tab where the conversations are displayed.
As long as we use the web version of WhatApp we must ensure that we log out correctly, opening the drop-down menu and clicking on "Close session", as shown in the image.
As you can see, it is a very simple method of espionage that can also be avoided in a very simple way, but is rarely carried out, basically out of laziness. Very important to take into account mainly in work environments, if we do not want the gossip on duty to “hunt down” our private WhatsApp conversations.
