Warner Bros Games has announced that it will be offering the definitive edition of Injustice: Gods Among Us for Steam, PS4 and Xbox One until June 25. Just add the game to our library on any of these systems to be able to enjoy the famous fighting title forever on our favorite platform.
The reason for the gift is quite clear: “Be a hero while playing with your friends and family. Play at home. Stay at home”. If we already had the game in our possession, it is interesting to clarify that it is the Ultimate Edition version of the game, which means that we will find 6 new playable characters (Lobo, Batgirl, Scorpion from the Mortal Kombat saga, General Zodd, the Detective Marciano and Zatanna), new missions in the STARS Laboratory and more than 30 new custom skins that will allow us, among others, to play with the Soviet Superman from the acclaimed comic by Mark Millar, Red Son.

It should be remembered that Injustice was originally released for the previous generation of consoles (PS3 and Xbox 360), this being an improved revision not so much at the graphic level as at the level of performance and updating, where the 1080p resolution and 60 FPS refresh rate. Therefore the game will look better, but do not expect many flourishes or special effects that complement what was already seen in the first Injustice.
One of the great attractions of this title is its gameplay and fighting system, where we can interact with the stage to attack our opponent. Likewise, each character has unique abilities and combos, which can lead to unbalanced battles at certain times, but which adds a great deal of fun and spectacularity in equal measure.
Although without a doubt, the main attraction is its story mode, pure fan service for lovers of DC comics. In it, we must fight Superman, who has become an authoritarian and dictatorial being who dominates the planet with an iron fist after accidentally ending the life of his wife Lois because of the Joker. A striking story that even led to a webcomic so successful that it ended up being published on paper, with more than 60 issues and a sequel, by the hand of screenwriter Tom Taylor - whose career took off thanks to this work - and artists such as Jheremy Raapack, Mike S. Miller and Bruno Redondo.
