It has happened again. I know, I am a village robot. Sometimes I get too excited and I get carried away, but this is totally worth it. And I have to tell you. Today I want to talk to you about 3D photography, selfies that remove the hiccups and the app that you are going to use from now on for sure. You know Phogy?
Phogy, 3D Camera: What exactly is it and what is it for?
Phogy is an app for Android from the company Vivoti, developed in 2014 and which basically consists of applying movement to the images resulting in a curious sensation of 3D.
To achieve the desired effect you just have to take a normal photo while moving the camera at an arched angle. The Phogy app is in charge of processing the image to offer a photo that we could call "moving", something similar to a 3-dimensional image.
Maybe with a video we see it more clearly ... Look how good these two girls have a good time taking photos:
App Features
There are 2 versions of Phogy, the free one and the paid version. For me part I recommend the free version It has everything you need, and then if you want to get the most out of the app, buy the pro version. But as I said, with the free version you can do practically everything.
Let's get to the point: This is what you can do with Phogy (those with the tag "pro" are functionalities only available in the paid version):
- Allows the creation of photos and 'selfies' with 3D effect
- Controls / adjusts Phogy movement sensitivity from low to high
- Allows sharing via email and social networks
- Create mp4 files that you can use to share via Facebook, Google+, etc. (high quality in Pro)
- Make gifs available to share via Google+, Tumblr, etc. (high quality in Pro)
- Quality ratings (from 1 star to 5 stars) indicated after taking the Phogy
- Set Phogy as live wallpapers with 3D effect (Pro)
- Multiple filters to customize your Phogy (Pro)
- Unlimited number of Phogies (Pro)
Happy Android Recommendation!
One of the negative things is that the exposure time of the image is a bit short, so to obtain a greater effect you have to move the camera faster. But beware! If you do this the image will be out of focus.
My recommendation (after having taken a few "phogies" and having screwed up), is that you move the camera slowly but surely. Slowly they come out much better (unless your camera is really good).
