Whenever we talk about good value for money in smartphones, we think of terminals that offer more for less. To what extent can we stretch that "more for less"? In the case of LeTV LeEco Le S3 X626 This is a concept that is pushed to unsuspected limits.
Analysis of the LeEco Le S3 X626, a smartphone with a premium finish and hardware to match
In today's review we take a look at LeTV's LeEco Le S3 X626, a mobile phone that offers 4GB of RAM, a 2.3GHz Helio X20 processor and a 21.0MP camera for a price that is beyond common sense. Is it as good as it looks?
Design and display
From my point of view - totally personal - the design of LeTV smartphones, as is the case with this LeEco Le S3, is a step above the average. An elegant, sober design, with a premium finish, and an aluminum metal casing that is already a brand of the house. In addition, it presents a 5.5-inch screen with Full HD resolution.
All LeEco terminals have a similar design, from the cheapest to the most expensive, and that is something that is appreciated. This LeEco Le S3 is available in 2 colors, gold and rose gold.
In addition, it has dimensions of 15.18 x 7.41 x 0.66cm and a really tight weight of 156g.
Power and performance
In the hardware section we find a high-end mobile phone. The Le S3 equips a processor Helio X20 Deca Core at 2.3GHz, 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. Some components that are not bad for a phone that barely reaches 125 euros in price.
If we had to look for a problem, it would be the absence of space for the micro SD card and a version of Android that is not as modern as we would like, Android 6.0. Ok, we are only talking about the version of 2 years ago of Android, but surely more than one would expect Android 7.0. However, this is not an impediment for us to install any app available in the Play Store, so it is still a minor detail.
For the rest, a super efficient terminal and with which we will be able to navigate and function fluently, thanks to an excellent CPU and RAM that does not disappoint.
Camera and battery
We move on to another really interesting point about the LeTV LeEco Le S3: its camera. This device has a 8.0MP selfie camera and a large 21.0MP rear lens resolution. A number of megapixels that we are not used to seeing in phones of this range, and that undoubtedly promises to deliver high-quality photographs.
As far as autonomy is concerned, the LeEco Le S3 has a 3000mAh non-removable battery, with USB Type-C and fast charge. A feature that comes in handy for when we are short on time and need an express charge for our phone.
Connectivity and other details
The LeTV LeEco Le S3 has dual SIM, with a slot for 2 nano SIM cards. It has Bluetooth 4.2, fingerprint detector on the back, WiFi 802.11a / b / g / n / ac connectivity and USB OTG. It is important to clarify that it does not have a 3.5mm input, so it requires the use of wireless or Bluetooth headphones.
Price and availability
The price of the LeTV LeEco Le S3 is one of its greatest virtues: 126.85 euros, or what is the same, 152.99 $ to the change in GearBest. In other trusted stores such as AliExpress we can find it even cheaper, for 90.31 euros, about $ 113 to change. An unbeatable value for money that we will hardly find in other brands.

And how is it possible that it has such a low price? The truth is that LeTV is a manufacturer that started in this technology manufacturing televisions, and for some time it has been looking for its space in the mobile phone market.
How? Manufacturing mid-high-end smartphones at very low prices. It is something that can be afforded thanks to the success of its TVs. For the end user this is something that benefits them enormously, at least, as long as they continue to maintain this policy for their telephony branch. The result, terminals of great functional value and attractive like few others.
