I've been working and playing with PCs since the mid-90s, and I really didn't start testing decent keyboards until recently. About a year ago I changed my usual membrane keyboard for a mechanical keyboard, and I liked the experience so much that now I have gone one step further, and I have switched to an RGB mechanical keyboard.
In today's review we talk about the Tronsmart TK09R, a backlit mechanical keyboard with a high level of customization, with Otemu Blue switches, antighosting and an 8MB flash memory to save the keyboard configuration if at any time we decide to change PC. Let's see what this is about!
Tronsmart TK09R in review, a 5-star keyboard for gamers and not so gamers
The first thing to say is that if we are gamers we will be able to get much more juice out of this keyboard. Which does not prevent us from also obtaining excellent performance in office automation tasks or editing programs.
In the end, this is what gaming keyboards have: their quality of manufacture, functions and finish are usually notably superior to the classic membrane keyboards, and in the long run it is something that any type of user appreciates.
Design and finish
With regard to materials, we find a keyboard made of ABS with a finish that denotes quality. It is a relatively heavy keyboard (1.36kg), mainly due to the wrist rest it incorporates to achieve a more ergonomic and relaxed posture.
Its dimensions are 46 x 23 x 3.2 cm, and one of the first interesting details that we see is that the USB cable has an exit to both the right and the left of the keyboard (from the bottom area).
As far as the keys are concerned, mount some Otemu Blue switches that have nothing to envy to the (more expensive) Cherry Blue: good pulsations, and progressive, something that we will notice especially when we have already been using it for a few hours. In the words of the manufacturer, the keys offer a tactile response time of 1ms.
Otherwise, it is a fully Spanish backlit mechanical keyboard, which means that incorporates the always necessary letter "ñ". Another detail that I liked is that it also includes a backlight line on the sides, giving it an elegant and cool touch that pivots perfectly between sobriety and that touch. gaming without being too overloaded.
Use experience
As regards usability, it must be clarified that it is an RGB keyboard. This means that in order for the backlighting to be fully enjoyed, it is necessary to leave some space between keys. Which inevitably leads us to the keys being slightly smaller than those on keyboards that don't emit light. Logical!
Honestly, although at first it can be a bit weird, it is quite easy to adapt and does not pose any problem. Especially if we are glued to the keyboard all day (as can be my case).
Another detail that Spanish users will notice is that the key Enter is one of the elongated ones, being a little smaller than the typical Intro square and large. As in the previous example, it is a matter of adapting and little else.
We have more than 16 million colors to choose from, but this gloomy blue is amazing.The truth is that in general terms the user experience has been very good (it is the most expensive keyboard I have tried to date, and the truth is that it shows). How could it be otherwise, it also has an anti-ghosting system, an essential requirement to play games in which we have to press several key combinations simultaneously. If not, we would not be talking about a gamer keyboard, of course.
Anyway, in what really stands out about this Tronsmart TK09R keyboard is its backlight system and customizable functions macro and chroma, characteristics that we will discuss in more detail below.
Backlighting
The Tronsmart TK09R offers up to 16.8 million RGB colors that we can program in different ways. On the one hand, we have 4 predefined illuminations that we can activate by pressing Fn and any key from F9 to F12.
Tronsmart software is essential to get the most out of your keyboard.In any case, the good news comes when we install the keyboard software (which we find on the CD included in the box, also downloadable from the Tronsmart website). From the keyboard control panel we can choose between dozens of light effects, with specific settings to play Overwatch, League Of Legends, DOTA or Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds.
Besides that, we can also assign specific colors to each key and create our own lighting effects. 100% customizable.

Customizable features
From the keyboard desktop application we can also perform the rest of the customizable functions of the device. On the one hand, we can create macrosprogrammable to carry out specific actions previously established by us. Too we can assign shortcuts and hotkeys to navigate more quickly and directly.
Another notable factor is that the Tronsmart TK09R incorporates a small 8MB flash memory to store the customizations that we make to the keyboard and be able to use them on another PC without having to reconfigure everything.

The word that would best define this keyboard is "satisfaction". It is considerably cheaper than other premium keyboards, but offers usability and results that have little or nothing to envy to devices with a higher price range. The backlighting gives a lot of play, and the macro and customization functions assure us that we are facing an advanced and very versatile keyboard.
The only downside that we can find at first are the spaces between key and key, but it is something we do not take long to get used to. In short, a mechanical keyboard for gamers that does not disappoint and that will attract a lot of attention for its good value for money.
