Display and layout
The One Plus 3T has a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen with 2.5D curvature, Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and 401 pixels per inch, all protected by a resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
The metal body is made of a single layer (something unusual in smartphones of this type), which is worked until the desired final result is obtained. A unibody body with a high quality construction and totally premium finish. Notably we are in front of a light phone, achieving a final weight of 158gr.
Another detail in terms of design and usability is called Alert Slider, a physical button with three positions located on the left side that will help us to control notifications (all, priority or none). A function that if we know how to take advantage of it can be really useful.
Power and performance
The hardware is a real treat for lovers of powerful next-generation smartphones. The One Plus 3T maintains 6GB of RAM (LPDDR4) and improves the processor of the One Plus 3 by adding a renewed Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 Quad Core running at 2.35GHz. An improved CPU that gains in efficiency and battery consumption. Without forgetting his GPU Adreno 530, of course not.
Regarding the storage space, they have been presented 2 models, one with 64GB of space and the other with 128GB (both not expandable). With the 64GB model we have plenty for most of the cases, but for those who are still looking for that plus, there you have the 128 model.
Regarding the operating system, it has the customization layer Oxygen OS 3.5 for Android 6.0, which is updated via OTA to Android 7.0 (they just got it recently, both the One Plus 3 and One Plus 3T) as soon as we turn it on and check for system updates for the first time.
Camera and battery
The camera is another of the benefited aspects of this new 3T model of the One Plus. The rear lens (this time made by Samsung) keeps the 16MP resolution with flash, autofocus and f / 2.0 aperture, and the front one undergoes an improvement doubling its capacity until it matches the 16MP of the rear lens. A camera that performs really well both in environments with natural light and in others with less light.
The battery is also optimized. We go up to 3400mAh, including the functionality of fast charge, thus allowing express recharges for the moments of greatest need. In this aspect, perhaps an improvement in the battery still somewhat higher would have been appreciated (something closer to 3800mAh would have been the no more), but it should be noted that the increase it has experienced compared to the previous model it has not affected the weight or the size of the terminal.
How could it be otherwise, the device also includes a fingerprint sensor, placed on the front of the terminal. Finally, when it comes to connectivity, it has a 4G connection, Bluetooth 4.2 and Dual SIM.
Price and availability
The One Plus 3T is a high-end smartphone, but the truth is that its price is much fairer than other competitors with similar features.
