I discovered video game themed channels on YouTube a long time ago, and since then it has been one of my biggest sources of entertainment. There are many highly talented YouTubers out there, and today I want to share some of my favorites with you. More specifically, my personal top 10 of the best video game channels on YouTube.
Top 10 Video Game Channels on YouTube
I warn you that I am not a big fan of gameplays, so I have not included any channel of this type in the list. In any case, if you know any that are worthwhile, do not hesitate to recommend them in the comments area.
Cinemassacre
The first video game channel I got seriously hooked on for the first time. This is the channel of Angry Video Game Nerd, also known as James Rolfe. With the help of Mike Matei, throughout its more than 150 episodes they reel off some of the worst games in the history of Nintendo and other retro consoles. All of it peppered with humor, swear words, and beer. A true YouTube classic.
Gaming Historian
The Norman Caruso canal is the place to visit for all those who want to find out all the ins and outs behind the history of videogames. It takes a long time to get your videos out. However, the waits are usually worth it, since they are usually long videos, very well documented and of high quality, with information and details that you will hardly find anywhere else.
Polinada
Polinada's Video Tutorials are from another world. This is the video game channel of Borja Pérez, genius and figure in What a miserable life. Camouflaged humor sketches of tutorials to play Fifa, Resident Evil or Zelda. The channel has been inactive for more than 2 years, but you can still watch all 3 seasons of these famous “video tutorials”.
JinoGamerHC
One of the most popular Spanish video game youtubers today, and in my opinion, one of the best. A good channel where you can find out about the latest news and the bloodiest scandals in the world of video games. What does Metal Gear Survive charge you $ for each new slot? Which EA is among the most hated companies of the moment? Jino tells you in great detail.
Metal Jesus Rocks
The Metal Jesus channel is one of the most recommended if you are a video game collector and want to discover forgotten jewels of times gone by, know all the models and accessories of a lot of consoles and in general, talk about video games in a pleasant and pleasant way.
Saseland
Sasel and the controversy. The controversy and Sasel. Love it or hate it. Many people accuse him of being the cause of toxicity on YouTube video game channels. Nothing is further from reality. In the end, what people are looking for is the sauce, but what no one can deny is that Sasel puts his soul in everything he does -even if he makes mistakes later-. Scourge of magazines like Hobby Consolas and other digital media, let's face it, they don't make it very difficult for them.
Previously recorded
The Red Letter Media guys' video game channel. Jack and Rich talk about the latest video games they've been playing and share their impressions. A good video game reviews page.
Fernanfloo
A YouTube megastar who does not deserve an introduction. Fernanfloo is very crazy.
Smooth McGroove
Smooth McGroove is a guy who makes a cappella songs from classic video game soundtracks. If you don't want to detach from the screen for a long time, take a look at his 9-voice renditions of Guile's theme in Street Fighter 2, Super Mario World, Metal Gear or Zelda. Pure magic.
Elders React: Gaming
Section within the REACT channel, where they put older men to play video games. The grace is in seeing how they react to games like Grand Theft Auto V, Mortal Kombat X or The Last of Us. Best of all, grandparents give themselves to the fullest, giving away some moments to remember.
Honest Game Trailers
Section within the Smosh Games channel. His honest video game trailers are really hilarious, with excellent editing and putting his finger on the spot whenever he can. The rest of the channel doesn't seem so successful to me, but you can't have everything!
Honorable mention: Professor Gamer
Channel that has become very popular in recent months due to salsa. A channel run by a marketing "professor" - hence the name of the channel - who gives his opinion on current events. from a business point of view.
I do not agree at all with the philosophy of life of this youtuber, but it is one of those guilty pleasures that you know you do not like and that they are going to piss you off, but that in the end you end up seeing anyway.
And what do you say? What are your favorite YouTube video game channels?
